Anise trisulfide, also known as bile vita, is a secretory choleretic drug, which can significantly enhance liver glutathione levels, significantly enhance glutamyl cysteine synthase, glutathione reductase and glutathione sulfur Transferase activity, reduce glutathione peroxidase activity, enhance liver cell viability, and increase bile secretion.
