What is Mussel Adhesive Protein? 

 

 

Mussels, with their tough byssal threads, withstand the impacts of strong winds and waves. This admirable biological force originates from a special substance secreted by the mussel's byssal gland called mussel adhesive protein.
This protein exhibits remarkable adhesive properties underwater, granting it powerful potential for biological repair.
